Home Health / Hospice Services
Home Health Agencies care for people confined to their homes because of illness or injury who need health services on a part-time basis. Services may include part-time skilled nursing care, physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy. This service is covered by Medicare when ordered by the person’s physician.
Hospice is a service designed to meet the physical, psychological and special needs of persons with terminal illness and to provide support to family members. Services are provided in the home and in certain circumstances in a nursing facility.
